Life
I finally settled in Austin after years of working in Houston and Denver as an Oil and Gas Accountant.
Austin is great if you haven't visited lately. It's definitely different than when I was in school here in early seventies, but if you look hard you can still find the old Austin.
I am currently an engineering tech at Motorola and really enjoy the compressed schedule aspect of the job. I work three and four day weeks so ultimat...Expand for more
ely I work 14 days a month and I'm off 14 days a month. Kewl huh?
I also have a painting service(interiors only) and a cleaning service (residential only).
I volunteer approx 20 hrs a month at the Mexic-Arte museum at Congress and Fifth. They feature diverse hispanic artists. Come by sometime if your in the neighborhood. It's cheap and entertaining.
Summers at Barton Springs Pool and winters in Mexico. And in between I work and play.
