Ronda's Story
Life
I have 2 sons and a daughter. I also have 3 granddaughters (2 of them are redheads!!) and 2 step-grandsons. My oldest son just graduated from CMU as a Chemistry-Biology teacher (he was in the Navy for 10 yrs.), my other son works at Meijer, and my daughter is a RN in a Lansing hospital. I am now following in my daughter's footsteps, after losing my job at Electrolux in 2005, I have been going to school. I just graduated as a LPN, but I'm going on another year to become a RN. I'm an empty nester now, just me and my husband, which I really enjoy. I just wish we were settled down in our new jobs, so we could travel some more. Hopefully within the next couple of years we will. I guess you could say that my dream job is to become a traveling nurse and go all over the U.S., especially Hawaii, California, the Carolinas, and Arizona, and maybe New York City. st my dad in 1991. My brother Roger is living in the Vestaburg area and has a son and daughter and two grandchildren, one of each. Penny, my sister lives in Lansing, but will be moving to Rainbow Lake near Maple Rapids in the next few months where my youngest sister and my mom live. My daughter is also building a home there. My youngest brother Corvin lives north of Carson City. Jim and I live near Montcalm Community College. We have lived here for over 20 yrs. We have lots of friends in the area and keep busy with school, work and play, for me its busy with school mostly. I will be done with my schooling by the summer of 2008 (yeah!! I can't wait!). It's been tough having to 'start over', but I think it will be okay in the long run. At least I won't have to worry that my job will go out of the country. Well, that's about all there is to tell right now. Will update my bio when things change around here.
