Life I have four children, ages 19, 26, 29 and 38, two granddaughters, ages 17 and 11. It's been a great life filled with a few unexpected turns in the road, helping to build my character, a resilience and joy for all that is in my life. I am a single mother and until recently was a single foster parent with 15 children in my care (not all at once). My youngest child, Savannah, is in her second year of college, fortunately choosing to stay in Washington state. Although we have no pets right now, my favorites are frogs, lizards and snakes, with snakes topping the list. I also love horses, cats and dogs. Some years ago I was a licensed massage therapist with a practice for women, my primary focus on pregnancy and labor massage. I also worked as a doula, working with and caring for women in childbirth. I have also worked in real estate appraising and in the real estate development/construction industry. Now, after 11 years working at a large credit union in community relations and financial education, I am working as a full time, live-in nanny for a family with one little boy.
