Ronda's Story
Not much to talk about as far as i go. I'm the mother of one amazing son. Was married to his father briefly but outgrew him quickly, buh-bye. Worked in the same place for the past twenty years in a job I enjoy as a phlebotomist. I've gone to school off and on but haven't found the right fit for me. That may soon be changing.
I was solo for twenty years but once my son was commissioned I changed that. Hooah! I have been enjoying a journey of self-discovery, learning who I am outside my primary identity as a mom from a mature point-of-view. I really love my life and am very happy.
I started writing (again) two years ago when I decided to date again. It's very confusing to put that part of your life on hold when you're still a child then resume it as ...Expand for more
a middle-aged woman. It helps to clarify situations I have found myself in when I haven't dealt with men on a personal level in soooo long. Good Lord, it wasn't that hard when I was a selfish, silly girl, is it me or men that changed so much?
Now I write everyday--daily journaling, letters to Soldiers, poetry, blogs, fiction, and non-fiction. I haven't published anything, yet.
I don't know what I would want former classmates to remember about me, I can't even remember me before I became a mom. I know I'm different now but maybe not as much as I would like to think.
Can't think of much else to say.
Now if you want to talk about my son, his wife or my grandson...prepare to be amazed or bored, it all depends on your point of view. My kids amaze me!!!
