More about Ronn:"I am a Vietnam vet from 1967-1968. I have been involved in helping vets of all wars get the help and benifits they need and deserve. I also love to ride motorcycles, and feel the wind and freedom that riding brings, is the best medicine for the turmoil in mine and the other vets heads who ride, and helps to give us some amount of peace. I live quietly and silently and enjoy the calm and relief I feel when I'm within my "Hobbit Hole". No need to deal with the outside world in here. ked out and my world is just as I want or need it to be. The only time there is absolute peace and complete freedom is either within these walls or on the open road with the wind hard against my skin and the faster the more peaceful it becomes. If all this sounds morbid or whatever, I invite you to spend a couple of days in my head and it will make sense. Vets never forget because we simply can't.....ever, but many of us become quite comfortable in here after a few years and your world becomes frightening and hostile. Lonely is something I never feel, but alone is tranquil and restful. It is important to feel in control and here there is that feeling. There is a reason we feel so good in the lifestyle of the motorcycle club world and that is that no one here has to be anything more than who and what they are...no games or pretenses, just respect and honesty and the freedom from the lying, back stabbing, cheating, greedy, cold world outside of ours. Oh yeah, and I really like ice cream and chocolate and warm, sunny days.".
