Ronnie's Story
Hello 1988!
What does one say when there are 20 years of a journey to catch up on? I'm Ronnie and most will probably not remember me. That's OK because I was the mostly silent listener but I will remember you! I really didn't fit into any specific group but hopefully thought of as a nice guy (just Ronnie). I was your friendly homeroom rep a few times!:) WOW, how time has flown, for it seemed an eternity to reach 12th grade and now some of us have kids the age we were at graduation! No fear, we're not getting old- just growing up! LOL
I had only good experiences with all and I am really looking forward to our reunion. It's always great to make new friends and wonderful to catch up with old ones. When we enter the B&A, we'll automatically have something in common, c/o 88! ...and hopefully some 80's dj mixxes.
Just because I haven't seen most of you for 20 years is why I am attending. Like I stated earlier, I was a listener and not the center of attention and my character is still very much the same. I am a strong supporter of equality because I fall right into one of the categories...Expand for more
. All said and done after 20 years, I feel priviledged to be one that had to think "out of the box" for I did not fit. Through the years I've met many that did fit and just wanted to understand more than black & white. If I had been more of the "norm", I hope I still would have been intuitive and understanding of others. There you go, I just came out of the closet in high school 20 years later! . So funny! That was the bad part of the 80's for me and nowadays I don't need to hide but rather just be. I have great family and wonderful friends and now I'm excited to reunite with c/o 88! Now that's over and done- move on.
Oh yeah, and those with kids don't forget to share pics!
Recently, I was delighted to converse with Ami Imming and Vicki Guy on Myspace and I hope more friends soon. I've had two constant lifelong friends from school which are Tracey Hitchcock and Christopher Kearns which I admire for his eternal spark of ENDURANCE!
Bernita Brown, I hope you attend!
Hope we all start talking more & see you at the reunion, Always the Best! Ronnie
