Ronnie's Story

First of all, I'd like to thank My Lord and Savior . Well I'm a product of McHenry and Louise Stinson Moseley Sr. I went to Emma Clarissa Clement Elementary School, (1960-1967), Berean Elementary (1968), St. Joseph Catholic High School (1969), Northside High School (1970), and Southwest High School (1970-1972), During my work Career, I worked for my Parents when my Father moved his Business from Mitchell Street, (1954 1959) Atlanta Georgia ( My Father was a Master Tailor everyone knew him as Mack ) in 1959 into the Lower Level of our Home at one time was located at 1458 Simpson Road Atlanta Ga (Rev. Joseph E. Boone Blvd.). ,(my Mother and Father agreed to bring the Business when Zoning Changed so my Father opened 'White House Tailoring and Dry Cleaners 1959-1972 my Father acquired some of 'The Mad Hatter' furnishing when it was located on Lucky Street the Shoe Shine Mable Slap Stand , Brass Stub , Leather Chairs for me ,it made me responsible , afterwards I worked various Jobs until August 9 , 1973 I joined The United States Army, I was Stationed at Fort McPherson , Fort Gilliam (1973-1974), then I was transferred to Korea (1974-1975). After that transfer to Korea, I witnessed ( it was messed up) a Great Injustice of the treatment of People of Color, a side of crudity against Man. A difference of the treatment Under The Military Code of Justice. That Justice was not equal for People of Color than those of a white Descendant , living in the same neighborhood (2741 Veltre Place) of then The Honorable ,Dr. Andrew Young, and becoming well acquainted Neighbors with his Family, and with the contact through my Mother to him, I Liaison to my Mother , during that time in Korea, My Mother liaison to him every injustice experienced to People of Color, including myself. The Duties and A.R. Violations they leveed on me were on call for I was Assigned to the of most dangerous functions within my Duties of The Armed Service I did them, But when I was attacked in the C.O. Office by (2) Two South Koreans in that Office overnight (12;00am Korean Time )while making a call home to my Mother and at that time she told me to get an Early Discharge from The Military(1975). I chose a Chapter Five (5), which entitled me every Benefit of Compensation under Congressional Law. Once I returned to The U.S. and was safely Discharge...Expand for more
d, it is my understanding that The Office of The Inspector General for The United States Armed Forces sent a Team of Investigator to Korea, at the Discretion of the Congressman . I later found out while on a Medical appt at Tampa V.A. a Fellow Squad Member (Hammonds) whom I run into ask me what did I do? He said after I Discharged , the Base was swarmed with C.I.D., which led to the entire Chain of Command getting disciplined, and relieved of Duties. Once home, again I sought employment, I became an Employee of General Motors Corporation Lakewood Plant and later Doraville Plant (1975-1980) . Since that time I've worked for Veterans Affairs Hospital (As Supply Tech), Parkwood Behavioral Hospital as a Nurse. In May 1990, I finally became a Married Man, the woman I Married is a woman that has been around me my entire life. I first saw her, in the Garden (Rose and Cherry Blossom) of a Hospital for the terminally ill (Cancer Patients etc.) run by Catholic Nuns by the Old Atlanta Braves Stadium back in 1959, I was 5 and she was 4. That day I fell in Love with Her. Well throughout the years, I would sometime end up in the same places as her, never having a chance to speak to each other. Until the year 1971, at Southwest High, we were in the School's Chorus, and between Classes I would ask her if I could walk with her and carry her books, well each time I asked, she refused me. But as the years passed (1984), and I was in a Position at Rolm Telecommunications, which is now Siemens, I had to leave my Office to take a Report to the Owner's Office (Mr. M), which was located on the other side of the building, divided by the Reception area, and as I was walking through this area, I noticed a Very Attractive Female as I was headed to the other Office, well on my return back to my office, I stopped in the reception area, and asked "Do I know you?", and she replied "didn't they call you Turtle in High School?", I replied yes, (we had nick names) and what's your name? She then told me her name was Jula-Aun, and my stomach felt light and with a little tickle, and I knew then, that this is the women I want to spend the rest of my Life with, and we exchanged information, and I asked could I take her to lunch, and she accepted. We had lunch at The Varsity , onions and all. And we married May 7, 1990, and we are happy today.
