Ronnie's Story
Life
After graduation from Travis in 1966 I "joined the Navy" and spent the next seven years training in nuclear power and serving in the nuclear submarine service until 1973. I married Linda Newton from Amarillo in Austin in 1971 and we have two sons, Chris born in 1972 and Cory in 1974. We returned to Austin in 1973 and I received my degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas in 1976. he years, I am now heading a research effort in Gas Development for the Research Company in Houston. We have a wonderful granddaughter Lindsey who is 8 and lives in California, we visit very often. My wife Linda has her PhD.in Psychology and has a medical practice in Houston. She and Lindsey both have horses here and we spend a lot of time with them. We also travel alot and follow the Texas football program. So far my road travelled has always exceeded my expectations. Hope to see many of you along the way.
