Well, here goes. My name is Rosalia Gooden-Lindsey. I was born in Corsicana, Tx. April 14, 1949 to James and Gertrude Gooden. I have four brothers and one sister. They are James L. Gooden, Jr.; Darrell D. Gooden; Marion W. Gooden; Aaron D. Gooden; Alice Y. Gooden. I am the third child amongst my siblings. I graduated G. W. My younger son works with the Department of Correction for juveniles. My youngest child is a producer for Fox Television. I have five grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is KeKe Wilson/Gospel Artist, Caleb Wilson, Colby Wilson, Myles Wilson and Autumn Rose Fofanna they are my little angels. I have lived a blessed live and I am so grateful. I am married to E. Earl Lindsey, and we have been married since 1992. I recently retired from Nissan Motor Acceptance in 2008 and right now I am in the process of starting up my own Court Reporters Firm. I am on my way to Oklahoma, that is where I will be located for the next five years, God willing. Please keep me in your prayers. I definitely will keep you in mines. There is not much more I can say right now, but I think of my classmates often, and I am always glad to hear from you. Love you all, Rosalia Gooden-Lindsey My favorite to relax is writing poetry My inspiration comes from my father. He always told me I could be and do anything I had a mind to do. He always told me whatever you start out doing finish it. Be the best you can in whatever it is you choose to do. I'm obsessed with shorthand reporting. I love sports. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a bigger dining area. My dream home would be huge. I learned patience. I learned to be steadfast and understanding. e a portion of it to people who are losing their homes, then spend the rest on my family , friends and educatin for our future generation. Yes,I did live in a dorm at Bishop. I attempted to join a sorority, but did not complete it. My current age is 60. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely wrong. To be the best in my profession. My best friend would tell you I'm outspoken, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as attentive. No. Back in the day bell bottoms, big afros, wide tail skirts are all gone. I share my home with my husband, which I find normal. In 10 years, I hope to be alive . I'm going to get there by being healthy. My first job was at Corsicana Cleaners, where I got paid $6.00 to $6.50. What I remember most about it is I hated that job. I'll never forget my mother and father trying to keep me and my brothers bellieving in Santa Claus. Squenching our eyes so tight trying to go to sleep and at the same time waiting to hear reindeer hoofs on our rooftop. Those were the days. I'll never forget going out for Hollaween and the next-door neighbor gave us baked sweet potatoes dripping with real butter and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Those were the good old days. I always wanted to be a star when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a just a dream idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I write my emotions on paper. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have knowledge, skills, and personality to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My inspiration comes from my parents. Mainly my Dad. He always told me to be the best that I could be and whatever I started out to complete it. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Maudene Cobb, because we could laugh together and cry together. My favorite pasttime observation is Sports. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a bigger dining area. My dream home would be huge. Patience. Love is unconditional. They taught me I am truly rich with love.
