Rosalie's Story
It is really hard to talk about yourself, however, I
will do the best I can.
I have a wonderful husband, John, and he is still
working. We do many fun things together. We
have two lovely daughters and one beautiful
grandson named Skylar. He will be 2 in March.
We love him with all our hearts as we waited
so long for his arrival. He is precious.
I have many friends that I enjoy being with having
dinners, lunches, via phone, shopping etc.
We have lived in Texas most of our married life with
the exception of 12 yrs. in North Carolina. That
was a real learning experience. We had a
beautiful 121 yr. old home restored. That was our first
and last as it is much more work than building a new home.
You must abide with the Historical Society on every-
thing you do in that old home. Wonderful, but so much work.
It was 12 yrs. of bliss with much history
surrounding us in every room.
In NC, I met many great people. Lots of Southern Belles
as we called them but they were fantastic
friends to the end. Weather was nice as you
have seasons and I liked that-four seasons. Texas, is our home
from living there so long & we are back living in the Lone Star
State once again. Loving every moment of it I m...Expand for more
ight add.
My real loves are antiques and I have many that
I have collected over the years plus art that I adore, poetry,
and classical music, traveling here and
there with John, cooking and baking the exotic.
Now I love to go out and not do the cooking.
I love our dog Mushu and koi fish outside and an
aquarium indoors (they are very calming
and fun to care for), gardening~especially
flowers. I love Angel Trumpets and Knock out Roses.
I would love to connect with some of my old
classmates. I do email quite a few of my friends.
I find it very rewarding to keep in touch. I am on Facebook,
MySpace, etc etc.
I wish more of my classmates were on the computer
but I have found very few.
It is very educational as well as being lots of fun.
Let me hear from you.
Adding a few updates on my Story regarding my life as it is today.
I am still in Texas, however, my wonderful husband John passed away on
August 15, 2011. My life has been turned upside down and I am so
sad, however, he left me to go to a better place.
I will not dwell on it but just to say it hurts very very much when you
loose your beloved and I am sure many of you have been through this
but I just feel so lost without him.
