I did not finish at Carver. Moved to Washington DC.There to Anacostia High. Joined the U.S.Marines, served 4yrs, honorably discharged. I lived in DC for about two years then back to Newport News where I helped to run the family business 73-76. My brothers and I bought my father out and ran the business 76-84. 1984 business was dissolved and
I moved west to Oakland spent a couple years there where I attended Laney College...Expand for more
. Had an opportunity to go to the island of Jamaica,where I spent a few months. I really enjoyed the laid-back pace liming. Found myself in the U.S. Virgin Islands where I had been for three years ( that Cruzan Rum ain't no joke). Have had difficulties readjusting to life on life's terms. Finally l git a grip on life and situations and have been doing fairly well, with the help of God and a lot of therapy...more to follow
