Rose's Story
Hi everyone my name back in the days was Rose Marie Fontela. After graduating from Balboa in 1971 I married my high school sweetheart Billy Dayers. I became then Rose Marie Dayers. We had 1 child named Kimberly Dayers who's now 35 yrs old. Billy and I divorced back in 1979. In 1981 I married Charles Jones and had also 1 child named Leah Jones, who's now 25 yrs. old. Chuck and I divorced in 1991. After 2 marriages I was reluctant in getting married again. I lived with my boyfriend for almost 11 yrs. I was engaged to him but something stopped me from marrying him. In 2002 we ended our relationship and went our separate ways. Thereafter I went to our 30th class reunion and my brother (Daniel Fontela) who also graduated with us in 1971 brought his childhood bestfriend Mike Pacheco AKA Gerald Pacheco to the reunion. e hit it off rightaway talking about the past. We both now have a lot in common. He also had 2 previous marriages and also was reluctant in going for the 3rd and also lived with his girlfriend for 15 yrs before ending their relationship. We were both free and hit it off so well. After 3 mos we were inseparable . We felt like teenager in love. We then decided to eat our words and go for 3rd is a charm belief. We got married in Reno and we've been married now over 7 yrs. and going strong. Our kids are grown and thanks to God are also doing well with their lives. Mike owns his own moving business and I just retired after 35 yrs. from banking business. My name now is Rose Marie Fontela-Pacheco. Never say never only God knows what's in store for us.
