Rose's Story
Rose graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1961. She has been married to Charlie for 51 years. They moved to Kinston, NC in 1989.
Her interests include crafts, reading, traveling, ballroom dancing and gardening. She likes Todays Country, 60's and soft rock music. Movies she likes include Jerimiah Johnson, Gone with the Wind and Forest Gump. She's a big Walking Dead fan.
She and Charlie have two children--Kelli (who passed away in 2005) and Scott. They're grandparents to 11, step grandparents to 6 and gr...Expand for more
eat grandparents to one. Rose retired as the Business Manager at the local Boys & Girls Club in December 2010. She now serves on their Board of Directors. Charlie is still working at Electrolux (formerly Westinghouse in Columbus, OH).
They plan to relocate to Sevierville, TN as soon as they're able to sell their home in NC. They love the mountains, plus they'll be half way between family in OH and son, Scott, in NC. They currently live close to the beach, but are not beach people. Isn't that the way it goes?
