Rose's Story
What can I say, I have had a lot of experiences in life that would make a good book, but no time to write it. I've lived in Oregon (Brookings & Portland), in Texas (Canton), in Arkansas (Quitman & Malvern). I have a son, James, born in Gold Beach OR in 1980, & a daughter, Amanda, born in Hot Springs AR in 1990. Both are now married.
James is married to Maggie & they have 2 handsome sons, Christian (6) & Austin (2). James is a Correctional Officer & Maggie is a stay at home mom/daycare on the side for relatives.

I have been married twice, I divorced my first husband, Roger (from TX) in AR in 1991, and my second husband, Rudy (from CA) died in 2005. Sounds like a typical life these days, but the things I've learned in the outside world could rock your boat.
Brookings will always be home to me. And I hope my family will at least always remain in OR not too far away. I hate to travel. It's okay to visit & come back home. But living out of a suitcase is not my cup of tea.
I live in my safe little cacoon hoping to have a quiet & peaceful life for the remainder years, watching my grandchildren grow.
