Rose's Story
Life
Life has been good to me - not that I haven't made my fair share of mistakes - I have probably made more mistakes than I'd like to admit and margaritas have been the cause of most of them !!! Jose' and I were really good buddies there for awhile. But we sure had some good times .... especially in California where I joined the California Rodeo Association and yes.... I became a "Buckle Bunny". I also was pretty good a riding the mechanical bull and line dancing. What fun times those were!!!!
After about six years of fun in the sun, I decided it was time to come back to good ole Nebraska and settle down some. I meet my husband at Leopard Lanes one Friday night and have been married for twenty years now. We have three children - Jeremy 19 who is currently attending UNL, Nicole 17 - a junior at Papillion LaVista South, and Michael 14 - a freshman at Papillion LaVista South and of course I can't forge...Expand for more

One of the highlights of my life so far was meeting Clint Eastwood while I lived on the Monterey Pennisula. He is such a normal guy that it's hard to believe he's a big hollywood star. He is so nice, and looks even better in real life than he does on the big screen.
On the flip side of the coin, my biggest disappointment so far was on February 5th when I turned "50". It took me over a week to stop crying and I still have trouble even saying "fifty" and refer to it most of the time as the "f" word. Six months later it's finally sinking in and I figured there's not much I can do about it so I best get over it and get on with life...... which is exactly what I'm doing now :)
