Rose's Story
After I left Glenelg, I attended Oklahoma City University for two years. My parents asked me to come back to Maryland due to my father's poor health. I still wasn't sure what I wanted to do when I "grew up" so I took a break from school and worked for the telephone company, where I met David. We married in 1970 and in 1974, we had our first son. I returned to college and got my BA in Geography (oh to see Mr. Drury again). We had our second son in 1979, the same year David got a transfer to Phoenix. I worked in television production and managed to get a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Arizona State. I did my internship at the Washington Bureau of CNN running camera for Bernard Shaw.

n Alabama. Our youngest son and his family, including my two grandsons, live in Seattle. I grew tired of living in the heat so in June of 2009, I moved to the Seattle area and I just love this beautiful area.
In the fall of 2003,I decided to learn to scuba. It has become my passion. I am now a Master Diver and have traveled to the Carribean, Honduras and Fiji.I have been diving with sharks, including white tip, reef, lemon, black tip and bull sharks. I am hoping to build my tolerence to cold water so I can enjoy diving in Puget Sound and hopefully see giant octopus and whales while I am underwater. I plan to return to Fiji later in 2010.
I am back in Arizona and love being back in the warmth of the Valley of the Sun. I did not make it to Fiji in 2010 but still hope to get there sometime in 2012. I have 5 grandchildren.
