Rose's Story
My life has been one of change and constant learning....from a young unhappily married woman with a full time job to a single mom finally getting that B.S. from MU to moving to Colorado without a job to working in fields as diverse as police dispatcher to environmental education (and along the way becoming a certified trainer, being a manager in Colorado tourism, training foster parents, landscaping, etc.) Life has had its ups and downs but in this sixth decade it has mostly ups! portunity to influence thousands of kids and adults is the highlight of my career. And personally, finding and meeting my "best friend and love" 5 years ago who shares my love of gardening and landscape design and wacky sense of humor, finally getting to use every talent I possess, having two grown "kids" son in California and daughter in Georgia and a daughter-in-law who are all loving and special, an awesome granddaughter (13) and talented grandson (9)as well as two great stepdaughters and two funny and smart little stepgrandsons...life just keeps getting better and better.
