Roseanne's Story
Life
Hi there! As you know, I've always wanted to be, and am now an RN. I've accomplished 10 yrs. as an intensive care nurse for children doing transplants of hearts/lungs etc. at Stanford University Hosp. I was unable to attend Stanford University College of Nursing after my acceptance letter in 1971. We were transferred to Okla. dad retired LCDR US Coast Guard her in Oklahoma a few yrs later.
I graduated from University of Oklahoma class '80 w/ bachelor science in nursing, (honors,3.79 gpa); I've worked all over USA as a Pediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU nurse. Includes 10 yrs at Stanford Univ. Hosp, and 6 yrs at Midwest Regional med center birthing center. Currently work as newborn neonatal ICU nurse at OU Medical
center in Oklahoma City. I'm divorced since 1989 and child free. I've kept in touch with many friends, as I went to 13 schools in 11 yrs as military brat.
Unfortunately, my best friend at Livermore HS, Connie Glenn died at age 25 and I'm trying to find her family. She had 3 children and I want to show them photos and share their love. I'd be appreciative if anyone remembers her to let me know.
I'm an artist and took some graduate art classes at OU, (Univ. of Okla),1980.
MY nuclear family is here in Oklahoma, near Oklahoma City. I have step kids and 5 grand kids in Texas. They are from my 13 yr marriage w/ a musician in the SF bay area. He passed away many yrs ago.
I'm involved with Co Op Camp Sierra they meet yearly in the Sierrra National Forrest; south of Yosemite. It's close to Big Creek, Calif the week of July 4th. I'm camp nurse for over 20 yrs.

ng nurses to learn the ropes. Make sure you go to the site, Co op Camp Sierra lcom.THese people have been meeting for over 67 years. we have agreat program for famalies,all ages and it is a casusl camp. It is just outside the yosemite park and it very beautifull.
I love music. Mostly classic rock, fusion, jazz, latino. I've done all kinds of dancing from ball room and even in a somba troop, as well as tap!
In april 1998 I returned to Okla from Newark/Fremont, Calif. I check on my parents, friends often.
I attend St. Philip Nere Catholic church here.

School
In 13 schools through 11 yrs, I was a military brat. While in Livermore, loved to hitch hike to Pleasanton and chase the boys with my best friend Connie Glenn.
We really liked to go to the Pleasanton County Fair every day it was open.
Made friends at the Amador HS dances and the at Alameda County teen dances too.
I hung out on School St. every morning and at lunch. Cut school often with friends. Did all my home work, and maintained honors.
Parents understood and were cool, looking back.
I took summer school, night school, and loved being a student. Graduated at age 15. Went to Oklahoma University at age 16 in 1972. Was fun but classmates thought I was someone's little sister and made very few friends at first.
My last room mate was a joy, from Jenks Okla, she was really straight but cool and open minded. Her name is Elaine Mac. Would love to find her again. Also, some kids from Ardmore, Okla., Donna Ponder and her gang.
Another group from Lawton, Oklahoma were a lot of fun an introduced me to Oklahoma football. I still hold season tickets.
