Hello my friends, Here's my story....or at least part of it. I've been working since before we graduated. I worked at Marzulli Real Estate on Broad St in Newark with my best buddy...Ruthann Szpara...then I went to Graybar Electric Co., on Mc Whorter St...also in Newark. I then worked for the Postal Service....Newark again. LOL. I worked for the Postal Service for 23 years. Part of that time was in the Personnel Office...at the Newark Main PO....& part of that time was at the Personnel Office of the Postal Inspection Service...which is the law enforcement dept. of the postal service. I retired from the Postal Inspection Service when they closed our office & moved all of our work to North Carolina. They offered an early retirement for those who were at least 50 & had ast least 20 years of service....so I took the deal. LOL I was off ... relaxing...for 4 months before being hired as a contractor at the Main PO in Newark.. working in their personnel office. I've been there 1 1/2 yrs...but my time there will be ending in August. Unfortunately their office is also closing & the work is going to North Carolina. Everything is being centralized. So I guess I'll look for something closer to home....when I'm ready. Not sure what I want to do yet.
