Life Got married when I was 21 to David, he is active duty Navy. Being a navy wife has many advantages and disatvantages. The good is being able to live in different states and explore them (also its bad as the move is hell)meeting people from all over the united states, the bond of military families. The disadvantages would be being to far away from home (not that we want to live in Syracuse again our blood is thin now) but we cant just take a weekend to visit. The deployments are hard...hard on me, hell for the kids. We have done 6 six month cruises since we have been married and that does not include the endless months of work ups. You cant help but worry for their saftey. And there is nothing like a homecoming the energy there is amazing. Anyway had a son in Washington State and a daughter in Pensacola Florida. The longest we have stayed any where is here in VA where I currently reside. I love it here but dont think we will end up here after my husband retires ...I just hope that I am able to at that time to put down roots wher...Expand for more
