Rosemarie's Story
Life
Rosemarie Keller Skaine is now an author of 14 books. She has written encyclopedia entries, journal articles, book chapters, professional papers and a short story. She is a full-time writer. The Gustavus Myers Center Award for the Study of Human Rights in North America was presented in 1997 to Rosemarie Skaine for her outstanding work on intolerance in North America for her book, _Power and Gender: Issues in Sexual Dominance and Harassment_, McFarland & Co., Inc., Publishers, 1996. Forthcoming in 2013 is a book on suicide warfare for Praeger Security International.

Rosemarie Keller Skaine's biography has appeared in Marquis Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World since 2006. Special editions are companion volumes to Who's Who in America published since 1899. The Marquis Who's Who in New Providence, New Jersey, is the publisher of the original Who's Who in America.

Rosemarie Skaine was inducted into the Grand Island Senior High Hall of Honor in 2009. Grand Island Senior High located in Nebraska is Skaine's alma mater. The Grand Island Education Foundation supports programs for the Grand Island public schools, and the Senior High Hall of Honor is one of the programs.
