Rosemary's Story
I left Newberry in 1965 and moved to Seattle, Washington where I worked for The Boeing Company for 34 years. I retired in April of 1999 and moved to Sun City, AZ in May of 1999.
I have two sons (Mike & Greg) and 3 grandchildren (2 girls and 1 boy). Mike lives here in Sun City with us and Greg and his family still live in the Pacific Northwest.
I visited Newberry last September with my husband and my sister when she...Expand for more
attended her class reunion. It was the first time I had been back there since sometime in the early 80's and found it still to be beautiful country.
Also was able to visit a couple of people that I grew up with in Seney.
I am hoping at this time I will be able to make the trip to the reunion but am waiting for the surgeon to release me for travel. Hope to see all of you there, but if not have a good time for me too.
