After 50 years in education and research, I retired completely to devote my full attention to my husband's care. During his journey with Lewy body dementia, others provided me with the information and support I needed, especially those in the LBD Caring Spouses online support group and the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA). I evolved from being a member to being a moderator of LBD Caring Spouses several years before my husband was released from Lewy's grip.
