Ross's Story
I see some of you have visited my profile so thought I would fill you in on my journey. I am retired, living in the forest west of Calgary, spending my time cooking and baking, home handiwork, travelling and exploring my family trees.
After getting a math degree at UBC I spent my working life in software development, IT consulting and management consulting in Ontario, Calgary, New Zealand and back to Calgary.
I am married (48 years) to Barb, with one son Michael, also in IT development.

am a sports nut, having been to or involved in organizing various world championships, Commonwealth Games and Olympics. Michael was on the Canadian Luge Team. I even made it to Moscow for the 1972 hockey series. I spent many years as a curling skip, including several years in competitive playdowns and bonspiels.
I have travelled extensively in Europe, South Pacific, Africa, North America and the Caribbean, especially enjoying snorkeling. I get back to Vancouver most years to see family.
