David's Story
Hello Everyone:
Hope life has treated you well!
I grew up in Burlington and attended Robert Huff Elementary. As I was shy in those days, high school was hard for me. I joined the service (101st Airborne) and dropped out of Holston in 1965 but received my GED the same year. I would have graduated in 1966 if memory serves me correctly.
I served a tour in Vietnam and while there, one of my friends was Mike Bledsoe who also attended Holston. I enjoyed his company and was saddened to hear he is now deceased. I attended West Georgia State College and the University of Tennessee majoring in Psychology and Special Education with some Criminal Justice background.

nce then I have worked in construction, the mental health field (14 years) and have owned a couple of businesses; one being a bed and breakfast inn which included a music barn/playhouse, hayrides and hot air balloon rides. It was located in Jonesborough, Tn where I currently domicle. In addition, I previously owned an art and frame gallery having closed it in December of 2003. I am currently semi-retired but do assist people in reestablishment of lost, and often forgotten, freedoms.
I still own several pieces of property and enjoy life, with all its ups and downs, twists and turns, to its fullest. I love to write poetry and short stories and would love to hear from anyone that would like to e-mail.
