Roxann's Story
Life
Hi. It's been twenty something years since graduation. I've been keeping myself busy as I'm sure all of you have. Since graduation I've married and have two children. My son was born in 1983 and my daughter in 2000. Big span in between. Well, I went to school to see if I could better our future and successfully obtained my Court Reporting License in 1994 from the Supreme Court of Texas. I have been working in Laredo as the official court reporter for the County Court at Law No. 2 in Webb County for ten years now.
I've had my share of devastation in my life. In April 2004, I lost my dad to colon cancer. The hurt ...Expand for more
was unbearable and as if it wasn't enough, in August 2004 I lost my husband to heart problems. I became widowed at 43. But here I am, still standing and still fighting as strong as ever. I thank my God for the strength he gives me in waking up every morning ready to face the challenges of a new day!
Anyway, that's my bio. I am very happy with my two children and I do the best I can with them.
I want to say that I was happy to be a part of the get together at Aldaco's in December. I got to see many of my classmates. and if I didn't see you, hopefully we'll get another chance, because I would definitely love to see you.
