Roxanne's Story
Married in '65. Widowed in '93. Had 5 wonderful kids (3 b.2g's) and 15 grandkids (Some adopted some foster) that I love to death. 2 of the boys are adopted, one was killed in Iraq last year. Moved from Chicago area in '91 and have been in the Quad City area since then. I'm getting ready to move to Texas with my only biological son and my daughter-in-law. They have promised to spoil me. t??) and just stopped this month. I don't know if I can stop working I've been doing it so long....but I'm going to try.
Today marks the 16th anniversary of the loss of my son in Iraq. Since 2020 I have lost 19 friends and family members including both of my younger brothers.
All through the losses and turmoil of life , I have been truly blessed. I still have my health and my family members. My God continues to bless and care for me and I could not ask for more.
