Roxanne's Story
After graduation, I went to St. Louis Community College at Meramec and obtained my associates degree in Secretarial/Word Processing. My first job was working for the CFO at Mercantile Bank. I went back to school and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Fontbonne University. At 24 years old, my girlfriend and husband's (Bob) sister, set us up on a blind date. In December, 1996, we took about 20 of our friends out to Las Vegas and got married. The next year in November, 1997 we had our first child, Tyler. he hunts October - February. In 2000, my husband and I started our own business, Patriot Properties; we buy and sell foreclosure homes. I went back to work at Peabody Energy for the COO. In 2002, we had our second child, Jack. I am now working for Monsanto as a Human Resources Generalist and love my job as I get to recruit a lot of college kids. My sons play soccer, basketball and baseball; Tyler is wrestling for his school this year and their activities keep us very busy. I now have a large family as my husband is the youngest of 7; yes they are catholic. I have 21 nieces and nephews. We live in a small, farming community with lots of friends close by and I could not be happier!
