Roxanne's Story
Life
I have had an interesting life so far. I waited to marry until a few months shy of my 30th birthday. I met a man through a friend/co-worker at Lockheed Martin. My future husband, Jim, was in the Air Force working on the same aircraft I was working on at Lockheed Martin, the F117 Stealth Fighter. We were both in the Engineering/Technical avionics field of our careers and found that we had many other things in common too. We dated a short while and decided that we wanted to marry. We have been married now 11 years, in April of 2004. We have no children so we choose to enjoy each others company, the company of family, and traveling as much as possible. atican in addition to many other cities and sites in all the countries mentioned. We have been on cruises to Alaska and Mexico. We really like Cancun, Mexico. We are just moving to Florida from California to begin our life as semi-retirees. We will work a bit but have decided to work towards retiring here in central Florida. We are building a home on a golf course in a planned community and it is very exciting to know that we will not have to move again. We are looking forward to building long term friendships, enjoying family which lives close by, and traveling a lot. Having been born and raised in California I look forward to exploring the eastern states, their historical sites. Jim was born and raised in New York but he too is excited about seeing the eastern side of the country.
