Roxanne's Story
Here is a summary of my life from 1973-2023:
I attended the University of WI-Medford (then a community college) and the University of WI-Madison. I graduated in 1977 with a BA in sociology. I went to graduate school at Duke University in N. Carolina, but transferred to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor after one year. I married Jim Burchell in 1984; our three children are Robin, Jesse, and Brandon. iology department for 17 years. Jim passed away in 2014. I currently live in St. Louis Park, MN, with my husband, Rick Kempf. We married in 2019. In retirement we have traveled to China, Spain, Canada, and Mexico, as well as many Minnesota locations. I consider Minnesota to be my adopted state. I have trained to be a health coach, and though I do not treat patients (except family), I occasionally publish articles on health. Our lives are full of family and friends. Two of our six children live nearby, which is a wonderful blessing.
