Roxanne's Story
Life
Well, I am the same as always. I love singing and playing the piano. I've spent my life striving to serve and live for Jesus and trying to share with others His great love.
I married a man I only knew as a friend from high school; Donnye Richardson. We have 4 awesome, hilarious, and joyful children. BriAnne born in 88, Kannen born in 90, Tanner born in 94 and DeAnna born in 96. They bring to me more joy than I thought was possible. And at times more anger than I thought possible --HA! But I can't imagine my life without them and Donnye. We have a great life together.
I own an insurance business that has given me the tremendous opportunity to raise my children at home, and the flexibility to be at all the important events in their lives. I praise God for that! You can never go back and regain those precious moments.
I also serve as the liasion for a group created at our childrens school called S.T.A.F.S. ( Student, Teacher and Faculty Supporters). I volunteer my time coordinating events to honor, encourage and support teachers, students and faculty. It has proved to be a very effected and needed group. I feel it is another calling God has placed on my life.

Donnye and I both serve in the ministry. We have worked with children, youth and/or the music ministry for the past twenty years. We feel this is the highest goal and calling we have on our lives. There is no greater work than the work for Jesus.
Workplace
I worked at Great Western Meat Co. for approximately a year and a half. I then moved to Levelland and began working for Briercroft Savings & Loan I worked from teller up to Operations Supervisor. I worked at The Savings & Loan about 6 years. Then the opportunity with Germania Insurance opened up and I took it over in October of 1989. I have owned and operated R & R Insurance through a home office throughout the years. It was and has been a God send. My firstborn (BriAnne)was about 8 mths old when we took the business and it was the beginning of a great opportunity for me. I have great flexibility in my work hours which has provided me the opportunity to raise my children at home and to be with them through many school and sporting events. I have missed very little of those special times and I am so very grateful for that. Owning and running your own business can be challenging---but also very rewarding.
