Roy's Story
Life
1971- Summer found myself on the way to California where I graduated from high school.
1972- Enlisted in the Navy for submarine duty.
1992- retired from the Navy.
Present- live in Hawaii with my son, his wife and my two grandchildren. Not married and working for the Department of Public Safety. I was back in Cape a few years ago to visit and remember the good times and to visit friends that I haven't seen since I left Cape. I saw Steve Lowes and his parents and wife. I tried seeing Billy Beal, but he was on the road. Cape has grown a bit, but it still has that small town atmosphere that I miss so much. is sight. Many others I don't remember, but many of you didn't really know me when I lived there. I've lived in Hawaii pretty much the whole time since I joined the Navy til now. Graduated from Chaminade University here in Hawaii in my spare time and now just enjoy life without other bothersome endeavors. No more goals in life, just life itself. Hey Dan Broadwater, sorry about the past.
By the way, I'm only in the 1970 yearbook as a sophmore. Only some members of the football team back then may have known me because on the sly I hooked up with some of their girlfriends. They tackled as a gang and they picked on me as a gang, but they were so busy being manly they forgot about their women. Too bad.
