Roy's Story
Life
After high school I joined the U.S. Navy. I spent 26 years on active duty. I was ships company on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt, USS Independence and served in several sea going Aircraft Squadrons. I spent two tours of duty in Cuba and one in Italy. I'm married and have one child, Rebecca Ann. She is married and has two children named Azaria (A-zar-re-a)& Zane. I serve as a pastor in the United Methodist Church.

ass. Between Gods calling me to Pastor a Church and my wife wanting me to get out of the house I finally gave in. God first and then that took care of my wife. I now pastor Amis Chapel and Elm Street UMC's. Other Churches I have Pastored are Liberty Hill, Gethsemane, Mt. Tabor, Bethsada, Afton and Stone Dam United Methodist Churches.
I love to ride my motorcycle and spend time with family.
The Lord has blessed me beyond what I ever believed.
Military
Entered the U.S. Navy in May 1965 and with a short break in service I retired in June 1992.
