Since graduating, I've married Jane Beaty, a Southeast graduate of 1965, whom I met when she was a Rainbow girl and I was a DeMolay. I went on to OU while she became an OSU cowgirl. We've been married now for 54 delightful years and have one son, Andy, who has yet to marry and give us our first grandchild. In 1968, we moved to Montgomery County, Maryland, an affluent suburb of Washington, D.C., where I began my career as a high school English teacher. (I hope Mrs. Vaughn would be proud.)
