Roy's Story
In a galaxy far, far away in a time when my biggest fear was not fitting in and staying clear of the Blackstone Rangers. I'm still trying to fit in and running now to keep the bills paid.
In between I spent a few years at SIU and went to work at a radio station in Detroit (some of you may remember Roy Wood on WVON-I'm jr ) Ran around the country for a year as a roadie with Issac Hayes and then back home to Chicago and WLS the Rock of Chicago. Got a 23 yr old son who just graduated from the University of Alabama. Working for NBC News TV and looking forward now to retirement (3 yrs) and I'm through.
For fun I play drums and learning the piano. I'm also a master model railroader. Always loved trains and cut many a class to go to the muesum of science and industry to watch the model trains there. I now have my own in the basement. Other than that lifes been good and getting better.
