Roy's Story
After graduating from SFA in Jan 1965 (yes, a midtermer which, fortunately, is a thing of the past) I attended Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, TX, on an athletic scholarship. I had been a trainer in high school.
I received my Associate in Arts degree from LMC in May 1967 and received an athletic scholarship to the University of Houston where I worked with the basketball team from 1967-1970. Members of the 1968 Final Four team were recently inducted into th...Expand for more

After receiving my B.A. in 1970 I went to grad school at Sam Houston State University and received a M.B.A. in 1972.
I taught school for 30 years--one year at Klein and 29 years at Tomball.
Retirement is the best job I have ever had! I love to travel and visit places where I have never been. There is so much to see!
