Roy's Story
Life
I grew up mainly in Houston, Texas in an area known as Denver Harbor on the east end.
I started to school there and continued through my Sophmore year when I moved to Conroe Texas where
I finished. From there my next big step was joining the USN, where I spent the next five years.
After this I returned home and eventually went to work at The Port of Houston. In 1968 I married and in ...Expand for more
1971 my first child was born (a girl), then in 1976 my son was born. In 1987 at age 16 I lost my daughter,
which was the hardest thing I ever went through.
I am now retired and my wife and I live in Conroe, Texas with our son close and enjoy spoiling our
five year old grandaughter.
