Roy's Story
Roy is from Frederick, South Dakota. He is married. His schools include Frederick High School. He later attended St. John's University, MN, and the University of Minnesota, where he earned an MA and PhD in American Studies.

Roy retired from the US Foreign Service in 2008 after 25 years of service in the USA and abroad, and he presently resides with his wife, Julia Parry, in Petone, a coastal town near Wellington, in New Zealand. He is writing his Memoirs.
