Life After high school I drove a forklift at Owens-Illinois forest products division in Vernon. Attended Rio Hondo for a year while working at Jack-in-the-Box with Manny Galindo. Did church missionary work in Denmark for 2 years. Back to Jack-in-the-Box, Rio Hondo, and got married in June 1973 to Jan Johnson (alum of Pioneer H.S.). I joined the Air Force and worked as an Air Traffic Controller in Berlin Center (Germany) controlling civilian traffic ... and in the RAPCON at Holloman AFB, NM controlling military traffic. After 4 years, 11 months, and 26 days I got out of the Air Force as a SGT/E-4. I worked at Presbyterian and attended Rio Hondo again for about a year before joining the Army. They took me in as a PFC/E-3 ... within 4 months I was a SPC4/E-4 ... by the end of the year I was a SGT/E-5 ... and 6 months after that I was a 2LT/O-1. My present ID card says I'm a MAJ/O-4 retired Reserve. I have a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics and an M.S. in Counseling & Psychology. May...Expand for more
