Roycella's Story
Life
It's 2007. My husband Dave and I just returned to the Austin area after living in Phoenix, AZ. Dave's company went through a hugh merger and the new company is the sole importer for the Modelo brands; he's in the beer business. Our life has been in constant transition the past couple of years. We're busy settling in to our new home. My sons are now 32 and 28 and both in Houston. No marriages and no grandkids. There are things I miss about Phoenix and enjoyed the adventure of living somewhere else but we're happy to be home and close to friends and family once again.
School
After high school I went to Tarleton and spent 2 years. I played volleyball for the school but after I got married we transferred to Texas A&;M and that ended my volleyball career. I worked and continued school part-time at A&M until Fredd...Expand for more
y graduated. We moved to the Valley so I took classes at Pan American University (now University of Texas at Edinburgh, I think) but never finished a degree. I divorced and moved to Austin. I became a Realtor so I spend plenty of time in the classroom getting certifications and keeping my license, etc. I'd still like to finish school; it's one of those unfulfilled goals!
College
I attended Tarleton State University for 2 years. My major was undeclared although I tried business as a major for one semester and found I definitely wasn't cut out for accounting! I joined an on-campus soriety and I played volleyball for the school team until I transferred to Texas A&M University at the beginning of my junior year. I've lost touch with my soriety friends but I have had some contact off and on with my teammates and my coach.
