Ruben's Story

Ruben retired from UM Dept of Surgery in 2011 after 31 years as a Sr. Medical Collections Specialist. As an artists continue working but not as much as I would like. I never marry by choice and I have a great family and wonderful friends who love me and treasure. I am so blessed and honored for had been a part of Miami Springs Sr HS and proud of my legacy as a student and member of my community Hialeah / Mia Springs. One of Ruben's favorite quotes is:"There are moments in our lives, there are moments in a day, when we seem to see beyond the usual. Such are the moments of our greatest happiness. Such are the moments of our greatest wisdom. If one could recall his vision by some sort of sign. It was in this hope that the arts were invented. Sigh-post on the way to what may be. Felicidades! My beautiful cousin Nicole got married on Saturday the 23rd on the same-day my brother Jorge birthday.
