Ruby's Story
Since leaving Ballou High School back in 1981 I have been to Job Corp, lived in NC and done the best to try to enjoy my life to its fullest. Sure I have had a few bumps in the road in my life but in my book that' helps not only make one stronger but helps to build ones character as well. I am a divorced mom (yes I was married for a minute and I mean that literally...LOL) raising 3 adult kids and now a granny to a 5 yr old granddaughter (my Bria is my heart).
One of my favorite quotes is:""Life Is Just Too Dayum Short To Waste On Useless People And Things"". My meaning on this that if a person or thing is not or will not be positive in your life why waste valuable time on it. The reality is that tomorrow is never promised to any of us so...Expand for more
we need to enjoy as much of it as possible.
I am a straight to the point type of woman more like a realist about life and I have grown to have no tolerance for bullcrap and games. I believe in enjoying life to its fullest. I have a great sense of humor and a very friendly demeanor. I try to be a motivator because I believe in encouraging others in being positive in their lives. I truly believe in this... A Person Has To Believe, To Receive and Achieve, To Succeed!!".
I look forward to meeting and getting to some of the classmates that we have left from Ballou Class of "1981". If any of you remember me and would like to get to know me better feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from some of you soon!! Stay Strong & Blessed
