Rufus (Ben)'s Story
Prior to joining Comcast, I worked as a Network Engineering Support Technician II with Digital Broadband Communications in Owings Mills, Maryland, and as a Node Technician with E-Spire Communications, where I installed and maintained transport equipment for high-speed data and voice networks. From 1993-1999, I owned and operated BearImages Plus, Inc., a computer maintenance and repair company.

S. Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer, with over twenty-three years of service. I am a married father of three children: Rufus III, is a Comcast employee at the Essex, Maryland office; Isaac serves with the United States Marine Corps; and Alicia is a student at Coppin State University. In my free time, I performs volunteer work with the Helen Keller National Center regional office in New Carrolton, Maryland.
