College and then at George Mason University, where I earned a BA in psychology.
Shortly after graduating, I met my partner, Bruce, and we have established a comfortable, loving home. In fact, we've established 10 comfortable, loving homes, including two different weekend homes and a home in Spain.
We love old homes, and our current home is an 1908, 2500 square-foot Victorian in Jacksonville, Florida.
For many years, I worked as a meeting/conference planner, with a brief but very interesting and mentally challenging (in a good way) stint examining U.S. patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and organic chemistry. I was the program coordinator for the SAFE Haven youth shelter in Racine, for youth ages 10 to 17 who are abused, neglected, runaways or "throwaways."
I am currently the Accreditation Coordinator for the American Culinary Federation, and I travel to culinary schools across the U.S. and abroad that desire to attain accreditation to ACF standards.".
