Russell's Story

After graduation in 1967, I joined the US Air Force, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. After 24 years of various assignments; home: Westover AFB, Mass. Richards-Gebour AFB, Missouri, Scott AFB, Missouri, Luke AFB, Arizona and abroad: Guam, Okinawa,Japan, Tan-Son-Knut Air Base, Republic of Vietnam, Lindsey Air Station, Weisbaden, Germany. s. I have 2 sons and two grandchildren. In 1992 I relocated to Jonesboro )Suburb of Atlanta. I started another career as a correctional officer for the Georgia Department of Corrections. After 21 years with the department, I retired (again) in 2013 as a Correctional Lieutenant. I remain a resident of Jonesboro, Georgia... to-date. I travel as often a possible and work with various charity organizations.
