Russell's Story
Life
After college in Oberlin, Ohio (with my brother Malcolm and Ellen Bridger) I went to graduate school in economics at the University of Wisconsin. I thought I would end up a professor somewhere, but instead I'm a government economist, working for the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice (the folks who sued Microsoft). the governments of Russia and China. While I was at Wisconsin I married an Oberlin classmate. We celebrated our 26th anniversary this year. We have 3 children, the youngest about to go off to college this fall. My parents still live in Atlanta, south of town now instead of north. I attended our 25th reunion in Atlanta, had a great time, and kept waiting to hear about a 30th but never did. I'd be happy to hear from old friends!
