Russell's Story

Life August 2011 Lee & I are blessed. Matthew & Jillian were married this past April and are living in Waco, TX for the time being. They are about to begin their church-plant training with Antioch Community Church at the end of this month. They will go to S. Africa for a mission trip in October and then complete their training in the spring. Next May/June, they will be moving to Baton Rouge, LA with 6 others to start up a College / Young Married ministry. Matthew hopes to finish up his pilot's license before his mission trip. Rachel is in her 3rd year at Baylor pursuing a degree in Film & Digital Media. She is having a ball at College and is really getting serious about her film/digital media career. She and a classmate are producing video's and actually making some $$$ on the side. LA or NYC. Lee still works as a fill-in Pharmacist in Honey Grove and/or Leonard, TX. She loves watching baseball and is a huge Ranger fan (Josh Hamilton specifically....hmmmmm......what is going on here). Lee is really looking forward to all the upcoming college football games. We have season tickets to the home Baylor University games and hope they can pull out a few victories this year. I lost my dad on Nov. 30, 2010 and really miss him. He was an awesome father, mentor, and husband to my mom. Mom is still adjusting but doing well. I am flying more than ever these days (Bonanza A36) and recently started flying GraceFlight missions (volunteer pilots providing free flights to individuals needing medical treatments).
