Russell's Story

Moved from Buckley, Michigan after attending Buckley Community Schools from Kindergarten through 7th grade in 1964. Most of family in the Buckley/Traverse City area. Moved to Lapeer, Michigan in 1968 after sophomore year in HS in Carson City, Michigan, Graduated from Lapeer Senior High School in 1970. I became a family physician with a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine and am Board Certified in Family Medicine with major interest and involvement in forensic medicine, education & school psychology, homeland security, and Hospice & Palliative Care. Married w/two grown, employed and productive children whom I'm very proud and working towards retirement slowly but surely! My current positions are as the Chief Medical Examiner in. Saginaw County and Deputy County...Expand for more
Medical Examiner in an additional county; a School Health Services Medical Director for a local school district and the Student Health Services Medical Director at the local Community College. Married x 34 years (Peggy). Two children, Saralynn (age 33 and Bryan-Patric (age 31). Wife is just-retired year local school board member (22.5 yrs) and just retired part-time teacher part-time in Nursing Division at Mott College. Daughter graduated with a teacher degree in English/Communication and a second degree with a BSN (Nursing). Son graduated with double major (Computer Science/Mathematics) working as a systems programmer in Dallas, Didn't graduate from Carson City but had many friends there and look to catch up.
