Russell's Story
I attended Central State University where I received a BA in Communications. I later became owner of Cast talent agency in Oklahoma City, where I taught acting and modeling until 1987. The most famous actor that I trained was Rex Lynn of CSI Miami. I later became a Video and Film lighting electrician and made films throughout the midwest and worked with Molly Ringwald,Marsha Mason, B.J.Thomas, and David Keith. In 1991 I took a job at the United States Postal Service where I flew around the United States shooting video and still photography for 16 years. it was time to move on, so I became a video producer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation where I worked with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. After 4 years with ODOT, I went back to school and I am currently working on my second BA in computer science and Macintosh applications for film and video editing. I am currently the owner of Sigh Productions and shoot video and stills as well as an onset still photographer for ABC Television for "Extreme Makeover Edition." I still have my 1977 Camaro which I rebuilt and painted OU helment red.
My recent movie credits include, “The Color of Money” “Wild Indian” and “Model House” “Harvest of the Heart” and “Jurassic Pet 2”
