Russ's Story

Life I graduated from the Naval Academy in 1970 and entered flight school shortly therafter. In 1972 I came to San Diego to fly F-4's for the Navy. I had one other tour in Texas as a flight instructor. Left the Navy in 1977 and worked at Naval Reactors Facility in Idaho, then for Boeing in Seattle, then for General Dynamics in San Diego. I am now involved in starting up an air taxi service here in San Diego, where I've been living in for the past 25 yea...Expand for more
rs. I met my wife, Leslie, in 1972 when I was stationed at Naval Air Station Miramar. We have two sons, one who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from St. Louis University and is now a flight instructor in Phoenix, and another who is a video editor here in San Diego. Dad died in December of 2001 and Mom lives in Kalispell. Brother Dave is in Polson and sister Julie lives in southern Idaho. Russ (updated May 20, 2008)
